How do pre-orders work?
Your card is charged at checkout and your order ships by the date shown on the product page — for current sauna blanket pre-orders, that's September 19. You'll get tracking by email the moment it ships. If we can't meet the date, we'll notify you right away with the option of a full refund.
Is the free LED mask really included?
Yes — the first 50 blanket pre-orders include the Solfold 4-Wavelength LED Face Mask ($149 value), packed in the same box as your blanket.
Sessions
How long is a session?
Most people start with 20–30 minutes, 3–4 times per week. Start at a lower temperature for your first few sessions and work up.
How hot does it get?
Adjustable from 77–176°F, with a 5–60 minute timer and automatic shut-off.
What do I wear?
Lightweight cotton base layers (long sleeves, socks). It improves comfort and keeps the blanket clean.
How much electricity does it use?
About $0.10 per session — roughly the cost of running a hair dryer for a few minutes.
Care
How do I clean it?
Wipe the waterproof interior with a damp cloth and mild soap after each session. Takes under a minute. Never submerge or machine-wash.
How do I store it?
Roll it up — it packs down to about the size of a yoga mat and slides under a bed or in a closet.
Safety
Has the blanket been EMF tested?
Yes — by an independent lab to EN 62233, the international standard for appliance magnetic fields. Readings came in at 0.174–0.196% of the exposure reference limit (10 cm, all sides, unit running), with a Pass result. Want the full lab report? Email hello@solfold.com and we'll send it.
Who shouldn't use a sauna blanket?
Heat therapy is not recommended during pregnancy or for people with cardiovascular conditions, and anyone with a medical condition should consult a physician first. Stay hydrated before and after every session.
Does it shut off automatically?
Yes — the controller includes a session timer with automatic shut-off.
